Operations Director

Polyaire Air Conditioning Products is a leading manufacturer of innovative air conditioning and ventilation products in Australia. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our new teams in Western Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to branch employees and drive branch performance to achieve financial targets.
- Monitor and manage labour and overtime to optimize efficiency.
- Manage all HR issues and perform performance reviews for Operations and Counter Sales personnel.
- Deliver a brilliant customer experience and ensure quality service.
- Oversight of counter sales, logistics, and warehousing activities to ensure products are delivered in full and on time.
- Lead, develop, and drive team performance through effective people management strategies.
- Ensure regular performance conversations and provide constructive feedback, support, guidance, and coaching.
- Work with all departments to ensure quality customer service and satisfaction.
- Manage safety, quality, and presentation of the store, warehouse, and office to the highest standards.
- Ensure compliance with all procedures and build a strong WHS culture.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory levels and efficient stock management.
Requirements:
- Preferred professional qualifications in stock control and/or logistics.
- Strong customer relationship building and delivery skills.
- High emotional intelligence and people leadership accountability.
- Strong business acumen with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Excellent customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Strong operational background with a good understanding of logistics and warehousing processes.
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to maintain and manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the team.
- Strong electronic inventory/sales systems skills would be an advantage.
