Position Overview

This esteemed Australian firm specializes in construction, asset management, and maintenance services tailored for the civil sector across the nation. Due to ongoing expansion, there is a requirement for a dedicated Civil Supervisor to oversee operations, initially on a night shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site visits to address operational challenges and facilitate communication between clients and supervisors.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to navigate specifications and work procedures collaboratively with clients.
  • Monitor and manage costs, including variations, ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Assist or lead in the preparation of tenders related to structural projects and pricing adjustments.
  • Support the development of monthly progress claims and forecasting activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A solid understanding of concrete testing and curing standards.
  • Basic knowledge of formwork and reinforcement techniques.
  • The ability to perform material take-offs for formwork, reinforcement steel, and concrete.
  • Experience with job steps for basic structures, including culvert bases, headwalls, bridges, and in-situ retaining walls.
  • Any experience related to tendering and main roads structures will be considered an advantage.
