About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Leading Hand to join our team at Shadforth Civil Contractors. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the supervision of Civil Construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring a high standard of quality, safety, and adherence to all project specifications is maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Civil Construction teams and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project specifications
  • Develop and implement effective construction plans and schedules to meet project deadlines
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure seamless project execution
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman on Civil Construction projects
  • Knowledge and experience in Bulk Earthworks, Pipework, Road Construction & concreting
  • Ability to deliver projects to agreed outcomes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Construction Industry Card (White / Blue)
  • Current Driver Licence
  • Various plant machinery tickets will be highly regarded
  • A strong commitment to OHS and Safe Work Practices
