Civil Roadworks Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Civil Roadworks Supervisor to join our team in Brisbane and the greater QLD region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering roadworks projects to the Department of Transport and Main Roads' (TMR) quality specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use knowledge of TMR policies, standards, and specifications to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and standards.
  • Utilize keen observation skills to identify conforming and non-conforming road construction materials and practices.
  • Confidently use a mobile phone or tablet to take, store, and upload photos to government portals (cloud storage).
  • Prepare written documents, including daily diaries and reports.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and keep them informed of progress and quality of works.
  • Provide effective administration and documentation as required.
  • Commit to the health and safety of staff, contractors, and site visitors in line with company policy.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years' practical experience in road works construction.
  • At least 2 years' crew supervision of road projects to TMR (or any other Australian road construction authority) standards.
  • Driver's license and access to own transport to/from home to site.
  • Preference for own mobile phone.
  • Preference given to someone already living in Brisbane or Queensland or willing to relocate there.
