Your Role

As a Risk Enablement Consultant, you'll provide critical support to management in developing adequate systems, processes, and controls to identify, assess, quantify, and manage risks in the relevant business. You'll be responsible for advising business leaders on the application of the operational risk and compliance management framework, engaging and managing stakeholders, and supporting the refresh and maintenance of the Ubank risk profile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising business leaders on risk management and compliance frameworks
  • Engaging and managing stakeholders to implement and improve business systems and processes
  • Supporting the refresh and maintenance of the Ubank risk profile
  • Identifying, designing, documenting, and assessing controls to mitigate key risks and obligations
  • Supporting the business to land project changes safely
  • Developing and maintaining compliance plans
  • Completing compliance obligation assessments
  • Providing business-specific input to risk deep dive reviews, internal audit reviews, and assurance reports
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, including Commerce, Finance, Economics, or Law
  • 2+ years of risk enablement experience in operational risk management
  • Experience in the banking industry, including supporting executive-level stakeholders
  • Strong planning and execution capability, along with commercial acumen
  • Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
