Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, leading a team of chefs, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of chefs, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure the success of the kitchen operations.
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing menus, ensuring that dishes are creative, visually appealing, and meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and that waste is minimized.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards, and that presentation and plating are exceptional.
  • Cost Control: Work closely with the Executive Chef to manage kitchen costs, ensuring that expenses are minimized while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for junior chefs, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a chef, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Education: A culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Certifications: Food safety certifications, such as HACCP or Food Safety Manager Certification.
