Job Overview

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely compliance with direct, indirect tax, CFC and tax effect accounting regulations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to provide tax advice and support for products, projects including restructuring, legal entity review and ETR reduction initiatives.
  • Coordinate the annual R&D tax incentive claim process and liaise with external advisors and internal project managers.
  • Assist in coordinating and overseeing quarterly management service fees and charges to global subsidiaries/allocation to branches.
  • Guarantee successful migration of current ERP tax processes / controls to SAP and incorporate new tax controls and processes where necessary.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a complex corporate tax environment, VAT, TP issues, including CFC's, tax consolidation, foreign tax offsets.
  • Desirable CA/CPA qualification with 5+ years' tax experience, gained in a corporate or International Accounting firm, in a corporate tax specific function.
  • Proven experience in implementing Pillar 2 regulations in the ANZ region;
  • Ability to undertake some travel (domestic or international).
