About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Wollongong, Australia. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Containerisation Expertise: Utilize your expertise in containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to design, implement, and maintain container build processes for efficient and reliable deployment of applications.
  • Critical Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management and optimisation of critical infrastructure components, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.
  • DevSecOps Practices: Implement and manage DevSecOps practices, including secure code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
  • Monitoring and Security: Develop and implement monitoring solutions to identify and resolve issues proactively, ensuring system health and performance, and maintaining network security group configurations.
Requirements
  • AWS Expertise: Strong experience with AWS services, including IAM, VPC, and S3.
  • Linux Administration: Proficiency in Linux administration, including shell scripting and command-line tools.
  • CloudFormation Knowledge: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as CloudFormation, and automation scripts.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team.
