About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Deployment Specialist to join our team in Wollongong. As a key member of our Information Technology team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the delivery of infrastructure systems and services to meet both business and customer needs.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain infrastructure and hybrid cloud development and lifecycle standards supported by quality assurance processes in line with business and IMB security and information management requirements.
  • Deliver and implement projects and changes to our infrastructure landscape.
  • Provide essential support to our production and non-production environments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Offer technical support and resolution to incidents and service requests.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of the IT environment.
About You
  • You have experience in Cloud engineering using Infra-as-code (preferably terraform), configuration management, and continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as GIT.
  • You possess effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate, influence others, and create documents such as presentations and solution designs.
  • You are familiar with core provider services from Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms, preferably having supported deployments on one or more of these platforms (professional level certifications advantageous).
  • You understand distributed system design, network architecture, and dependency management.
  • You hold relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • You are willing to participate in a rotating after-hours callout roster to provide timely support and service to a 24/7 retail bank.

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
