Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Specialist to join our team at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy to engage and build our online community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to drive maximum commercial outcomes for Virgin Australia and our partners.
  • Manage and maintain our social media presence across multiple platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
  • Develop and execute paid and organic content, copywriting social media posts, and overseeing community management to deliver a high-quality customer service experience.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience leading a brand's social media initiatives.
  • At least 8 years' experience in social media and content or similar.
  • Extensive experience leading a social media team.
  • Proven results building a social media audience, driving engagement, and results.
