Production Efficiency Leader

This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting growth phase of a leading food manufacturing company. As our Production Efficiency Leader, you will lead the maintenance department to deliver efficiency through optimized machinery performance and technology utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance operations to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Manage repairs, CAPEX projects and process engineering improvements
  • Develop and mentor a team of electricians and maintenance fitters
  • Lead engineering activities including commissioning of new machinery
  • Drive productivity enhancements through process improvements
  • Implement and optimize systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure workplace health and safety compliance and promote a safety culture

Requirements:

  • Trade qualifications in electrical, maintenance or related fields
  • Process engineering expertise
  • Food manufacturing experience and knowledge
  • Strong people leadership skills
  • Proven experience managing major projects
  • Understanding of legislative requirements (including OH&S & Environment)
