Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

The role involves overseeing the daily financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. This is a pivotal position within the organization, requiring strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Oversee trust account management and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Manage payroll and superannuation obligations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A proven track record in financial accounting and bookkeeping, preferably within a professional services firm.
