This opportunity offers the chance to be a pivotal figure in a dynamic, growing hospitality group of venues. Working closely with leadership teams, you will own key financial processes, drive reporting, and embed process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Month-End Close - Lead end-to-end processes across multiple entities ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Drive Strategic Reporting - Prepare insightful financial statements, variance analysis, and maintain ledger integrity.
  • Lead Budgeting & Forecasting - Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts delivering strategic insights.
  • Champion Process Excellence - Identify inefficiencies, implement automation, and strengthen financial controls.
  • Mentor & Upskill - Support junior team members and build financial capability across operations and venue teams.
  • Ensure Compliance - Liaise with auditors, manage statutory obligations, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years accounting or finance experience ideally in SME or multi-site environments.
  • Proven ability to drive precise monthly P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and quarterly reporting.
  • Experience building day-to-day financial processes that improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to understand big picture and translate numbers into meaningful insights.
  • Natural collaborator who thrives on partnering with operational teams.
  • The right personality: proactive, approachable, confident in engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep knowledge of AASB standards and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and drive for continuous improvement.
