About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling people with disabilities to thrive and participate actively in their communities by providing compassionate, personalised support.

  • Support clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide assistance with household duties including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Advocate for clients' needs and preferences, ensuring their rights and choices are respected.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation according to organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored support plans.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability (or equivalent).
  • A current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • The NDIS Worker Check & Working with Children Check.
  • A commitment to health and safety demonstrated through maintaining First Aid, CPR, and Safe Environments for Children & Young People.
  • A flexible attitude with the ability to work across a 24/7 roster including overnight shifts.
