
Emotional Support Specialist

As a skilled communicator, you will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds to provide emotional support and guidance.
You will build strong connections with clients to ensure they feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life's challenges.
Each client presents unique circumstances, and your empathetic approach will help them develop effective coping strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality telephonic and video counselling services in a supportive and non-judgmental manner.
- Assess clients thoroughly to determine the most effective course of action.
- Work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide referrals to external resources or within the organization as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation.
- Perform additional tasks as required by clinical management.
- Certified counsellor with a Master's degree.
- Minimum 2 years of direct client contact experience providing counselling or mental health services.
- Registration with a recognized professional body is mandatory.
- Experience with various counselling modalities, including Solution-Focused, CBT, Mindfulness, Integrative, and Systemic approaches.
- Training in crisis intervention and working with high-risk clients is beneficial.
- Ability to work with clients presenting with substance abuse, mental health symptoms, family/relationship-related concerns, and other issues impacting daily life.
- Passion for providing support to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Flexibility in using different communication methods, including phone, video, email, text, and live chat.
