Key Roles in Emergency Services and Security

This position plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and security of our personnel and operations.

The incumbent will lead, coach, and engage the Emergency Response, Security, and Medic teams to deliver high-quality emergency, medical, and security outcomes. Responsibilities include overseeing department resources, training, consumables, and equipment maintenance, as well as representing the organization in forums such as mine rescue committees, regulators, and community emergency response groups.

  • Oversight of department budgets is not included in this role. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with expertise in emergency services and security to ensure compliance with site certifications and legal requirements.
  • Maintain site access systems and conduct investigations when required. The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications including Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response & Rescue, Certificate IV in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Response, and Control a Level 1 Incident / Incident Management qualification.
