Emergency Response Specialist Opportunity

This position requires a highly skilled individual to collaborate with the Emergency Response Team (ERT) in preventing and managing emergency situations. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing first aid and medical treatment to site personnel around the clock, referring patients to appropriate medical facilities, and coordinating ongoing care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with ERT team members to prevent and manage emergency situations effectively.
  • Deliver high-quality first aid and medical treatment to site personnel as required.
  • Refer patients to relevant medical facilities and coordinate their ongoing care.
  • Support the development of emergency response systems to meet industry standards.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Substantial experience in safety and medical practices within the mining industry.
  • Possession of Cert IV OHS, Cert IV Training and Assessment, and Cert III Mine Emergency Response and Rescue qualifications.
  • Previous experience as an ERT member or coordinating ERT activities is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of loss control and mine rescue techniques.
  • Familiarity with safety management systems.
