Emergency Response Officer

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Response Officer to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for facilitating injury management, supporting injured workers, and administering Return to Work Plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating injury management and liaising with health professionals.
  • Supporting injury incident investigations and reporting.
  • Assisting the Site Registered Nurse with biological monitoring and wellness assessments.
  • Providing leadership to the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and developing emergency response training.
  • Developing, reviewing, and maintaining emergency response procedures and systems.
  • Conducting inspections and stocktakes of on-site Mines Rescue equipment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar underground mining role.
  • RII30709 - Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Nationally Accredited Drug and Alcohol Testing training.
  • Proven leadership in an Emergency Response Team.
  • Experience in Mine Rescue, Emergency Response, and site Medic responsibilities.
