Job Overview

Role Summary

The Customer Experience Liaison Specialist facilitates interaction between the Tribunal, consumers of mental health services and their carers, and members of the lived experience workforce.

This role is responsible for identifying barriers, including cultural differences, that may impact on a consumer's willingness to attend Tribunal hearings. You will contribute to the design of Tribunal strategies, policies, and procedures to support the Tribunal's strategic goals regarding positive relationships and maximizing consumer participation in Tribunal hearings.

The position requires high-level interpersonal and communication skills, including developing networks and partnerships, consulting, and negotiating with stakeholders, and establishing vital links in the broader mental health system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance consumer engagement and participation
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including consumers, carers, and community organizations
  • Provide information and support to consumers and carers about Tribunal processes and procedures
  • Identify and address barriers to consumer participation in Tribunal hearings
Requirements
