Site Characterization Specialist

About the Role:
This Field Engineer position is a dynamic opportunity to join our organization and contribute to specialized, high-end geotechnical site characterization.
We foster a respectful, positive, and enriching work environment that encourages collaboration and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CPTu equipment, VST, sampling systems, DMT equipment, and other in-situ testing equipment safely and productively.
- Provide timely assistance to Operators and Engineers as required.
- Assist with mobilization and demobilization of equipment in hard-to-access environments.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Enrolled in Engineering/Geology program or completed an Engineering/Geology degree/diploma program.
- Previous field experience is an asset.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and programs like Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Clean driver's license report.
- Basic electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic skills are an asset but not required.
The ideal candidate will be based near our location; however, remote workers will still be considered.
They must enjoy working outdoors, travelling for extended periods, and performing a wide variety of duties.
They must also be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
