Mining Engineer

As a senior professional in the field of mining engineering, this position involves leading the bulk material movement work package on the Ranger Rehab Study. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an innovative waste stockpile grade characterization methodology to optimize material movement plans.
- Develop high-resolution stockpile models using proficiency in block modelling and geospatial analysis.
- Collaborate with specialist consultants and site-based mine planners to leverage technical skills in multiple software environments.
Key duties include:
- Coordinate all engineering activities for the defined area of responsibility throughout the project life cycle.
- Engage and manage specialist technical contractors/consultants to clarify and optimize bulk material movement work package deliverables.
- Work closely with project planning and scheduling teams to develop and maintain project schedules.
- Assist in producing technical reports and project reviews complete with recommendations.
Strong working relationships will be formed with closure study team members, internal subject matter experts, and site-based mine planners.
