Job Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity to join our organisation as a dynamic HR Business Partner in a complex, production-driven environment. As a key member of the team, you will partner with leaders across high-impact business units, contributing to both day-to-day HR activities and long-term workforce strategy.

  • Key Responsibilities: Provide expert generalist HR support to managers and employees across a diverse workforce, focusing on operational and ER issues. Develop and deliver coaching sessions on performance, development, IR/ER, and investigations, helping managers build strong relationships with their teams.
  • Lead Cyclical Processes: Oversee key HR initiatives such as performance reviews, remuneration, and engagement initiatives, ensuring they are implemented effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage Recruitment Efforts: Coordinate recruitment efforts across key business units, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring the best candidates.
  • Partner with Site-Based Teams: Work closely with site-based teams, unions, and reps to maintain excellent industrial relations, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Support Organisational Change: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement organisational change projects, including automation and transformation programs.
  • Drive Improvements: Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, policies, and processes, implementing changes that benefit the organisation and its employees.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a HR Business Partner in an operational, manufacturing, or unionised environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law, Awards, and EA negotiation.
  • Skills: Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
  • Education: Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related field.
