Business Development Manager - Sleep Solutions">

The role of Business Development Manager - Sleep Solutions is a key position within our organisation, responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the sleep solutions market.

Reporting to the State Manager – Queensland, you will be accountable for growing the Sleep Solutions business across all of our clinics and partner locations within an assigned region through increased referrals to our sleep offer.

This role encompasses business development of the Sleep Solutions business through building and maintaining strong relationships with key referrers and other stakeholders involved in sleep solutions within their assigned region, including but not limited to:

  • Sleep Physicians and other Specialists (ENT, Respiratory Physicians)
  • General Practitioners
  • Allied Health Organisations
Responsibilities

This position will involve:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy focused on growing market share and increasing referrals within the sleep market
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by establishing relationships with key decision makers at hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, R&D, and regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Conducting market research to stay abreast of trends and changes in the sleep market and identify potential areas for growth
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with clients ensuring favorable terms and conditions
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports outlining progress towards goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary education in business administration, marketing or related field
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing within the medical device industry
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly within the sleep segment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance processes for medical devices
