Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients and securing new opportunities. Your primary goal will be to build long-term relationships with our clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and actively seeking new business prospects.

  • Create and maintain strong, trusting relationships with existing clients.
  • Oversee client accounts, including strategic planning, forecasting, and contract negotiation to maximize profit.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the region.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and grow business opportunities.
  • Provide regular progress updates on monthly/quarterly initiatives.

Key to your success in this role will be your ability to effectively network, communicate, and represent our company confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or Sales Manager, preferably in a customer-focused technical/commercial role.
  • Familiarity with the maritime industry, with knowledge of IT infrastructure, surveillance systems, and port operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication abilities, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously.
  • General technical literacy, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and ITSM tools (e.g., Remedy).
