Job Title: Area Manager

Job Description

As a senior leadership professional, you will oversee government funded services to modify homes and ensure all work complies with relevant laws and funding guidelines.

This involves supervising structural building works carried out by staff and contractors across NSW, ACT & WA, minor home repairs and maintenance services. Your teams will coordinate projects from assessment to completion, working closely with clients and allied health professionals to provide expert oversight of services that make a difference in people's lives.

The role requires effective leadership, commercial acumen, and strong communication skills. You will lead teams to deliver safe, person-centred services while driving service sustainability.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant trade qualifications in building and construction such as certification in Carpentry or Building Surveying.
  • A current licence for general building work is required.
  • Demonstrated industry experience in residential building work and/or management of home maintenance and modifications programs is necessary.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • A sound understanding of compliance, risk management, and relevant sector legislation is required.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a complex environment is vital.
