Tyre Technician

\Description:

We are seeking a skilled Tyre Technician to join our team at our Curragh North coal mining project. In this role, you will be responsible for the removal and fitting of rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving mining equipment, as well as performing regular tyre inflation pressure checks and adjusting as necessary.

\Key Responsibilities:
  • \
  • Remove and fit rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving mining equipment as required\
  • Perform regular tyre inflation pressure checks, adjust and report to supervisor\
  • Source technical information from available reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems\
  • Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of equipment non-conformance, identify and record any equipment quality problems, initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels\
  • Be able to work in accordance with the site's procedures\
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure all work is carried out to a high standard
\Requirements:
  • \
  • Experience working as a tyre fitter in open cut mining in the maintenance of a heavy earthmoving tyre fleet\
  • Hold current AUR21920 Cert II in Automotive Tyre Servicing or AURKTJ011 & AURKTJ012\
  • Current Drivers Licence (HR drivers licence desirable)\
  • Valid Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
