Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in human resources or organizational development, with emerging skills in training, interviewing, and business partnering.

We are seeking an HR Support Officer to assist the HR Manager in providing guidance and assistance on various Human Resources policies, programs, and practices.

The role focuses on recruitment and onboarding, payroll, remuneration, and work health and safety. The successful candidate will also maintain the optimal function of our HR information system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in all areas of HR including learning and development, payroll, remuneration, and WHS.
  • Work with hiring managers and external agencies to create staffing solutions.
  • Prepare employment contracts and onboard new staff members.
  • Maintain the HRIS and identify system improvements.
  • Collect data from management and employee surveys.
  • Conduct research and prepare reports on HR trends.
  • Assist with staff record maintenance and company-wide reference checks.
  • Develop and maintain training programs and internal communications plans.
Requirements
  • Qualification in human resources or Org Dev.
  • Emerging skills in training, interviewing, and business partnering.
  • Good knowledge of P&C policies and practices.
  • Demonstrates sensitivity and discretion when handling staff issues.
  • Good time management and analytical skills.
  • Experience using an HRIS.
  • Intermediate user of Office365, particularly excel.
