IT Supplier and Procurement Lead

We are seeking a commercially astute IT supplier and procurement expert to drive the development of strategic vendor relationships and manage procurement activities within our Technology division.

The role will ensure our IT investments are financially sound, vendor partnerships deliver quality outcomes, and procurement processes align with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Develop strong vendor partnerships, monitor performance, negotiate contracts, and resolve issues to ensure value and compliance.
  • PROCUREMENT LEADERSHIP: Oversee end-to-end sourcing of IT equipment and services, manage RFPs, and maintain accurate procurement records.
  • FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT: Develop and manage IT budgets, control costs, validate invoices, and identify savings opportunities.
  • RISK MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE: Ensure procurement activities meet policy and regulatory standards, while proactively managing supplier-related risks.
  • STRATEGIC ENABLER: Align vendor capabilities with our technology strategy and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
About You:
  • Prior experience in IT supplier management and procurement is essential.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills are required.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities are necessary.
  • You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is highly regarded.
