Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Expert to join our high-performance procurement team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for advancing your analytical skillset with exposure to a large business.

About the Role:

  • Commercial & Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis on procurement events, providing data-driven insights that support negotiation, sourcing, and decision-making processes.
  • Procurement Reporting: Develop and maintain procurement-related reporting, including spend profiles, supplier data, and category insights to inform business strategy.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows within the procurement team and contribute to their execution.
  • Analytical Support: Provide general support to the procurement team through modelling, report building, and ad-hoc data analysis.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, understand project scopes, and ensure alignment throughout procurement activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in Excel and MicroStrategy, with a strong grasp of data tools.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build relationships, engage stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability & Time Management: Strong time management, prioritisation, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
