Job Overview:
The Joint Child Protection Response Program (JCPRP) Clinical Coordinator provides direct support to children and young people, as well as non-offending parents/carers referred to JCPRP. The role offers timely, high-level advice on strategic, policy, and operational health issues related to child sexual assault, physical abuse, and neglect.
About the Role:
- Provide direct support to children and young people
- Offer timely, high-level advice on strategic, policy, and operational health issues
- Develop and refine strategic relationships with stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide clinical coordination for JCPRP responses in partnership with NSW Police Child Abuse Unit and NSW Department of Justice and Community Services
- To assist in providing a joint response to children and young people suspected to be at risk of sexual harm, serious physical harm, and extreme neglect
Selection Criteria:
- CURRENT REGISTRATION WITH AHPRA AS A PSYCHOLOGIST OR RELEVANT TERTIARY QUALIFICATIONS IN SOCIAL WORK WITH ELIGIBILITY TO THE RESPECTIVE AUSTRALIAN PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION
- Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with Aboriginal services, community members, and ability to provide culturally safe environment for peers, children, and families
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, communication verbal and written, consultation and negotiations skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and refine strategic relationships both within and external to the organisation
