Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Protection Specialist to join our team.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people. You will work closely with families, communities, and other stakeholders to provide responsive and effective support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work or a related field, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to build trust with families and communities, and work collaboratively with other agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to reports of child safety concerns and develop effective intervention plans.
  • Work closely with families and communities to identify and address underlying issues.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to ensure a coordinated response to child safety concerns.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent child abuse and neglect.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with vulnerable children and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
