Job Overview

As a Senior IT Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the governance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of corporate, customer, and community technology applications.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage operational and project budgets to ensure value for money in planning, responding to audits, and mitigating financial risks.
  • Understand customer requirements, identify application performance risks and opportunities, and contribute to the Council's strategic planning process.
  • Deliver high-quality outcomes, build trusted relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and team members, negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts early.
  • Set clear standards, develop team capability, recognize achievements, and ensure alignment with the Council's values.
  • Maintain accurate application profiles and configurations, ensure systems are secure, licensed, and fit-for-purpose, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

About You

  • You have 5-7 years of experience leading IT applications in complex environments.
  • You possess strong vendor and contract management expertise.
  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • You have proven financial management and strategic planning ability.
  • You have experience with ERP applications (preferably TechnologyOne).
