Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to manage parts on service work orders, organise freight, monitor back orders, and process supplier purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with the service team to ensure efficient management of parts inventory and timely allocation of freight onto service work orders.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports of parts stock levels, back orders, and freight costs.
  • To assist in identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues related to part availability and freight quotes.
  • To process external supplier purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of prior experience in an automotive environment is highly regarded.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Highly computer literate, with proficiency in software applications relevant to the role.
  • Extremely organised, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Mechanical knowledge/background is highly regarded, although not essential.
