We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Teacher to contribute to the success of our students in the Construction Department.

The ideal candidate will have relevant vocational qualifications, recent industry experience in waterproofing or wet trades, and a strong understanding of learner-centred teaching practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering tailored learning activities for diverse student needs
  • Creating inclusive and safe learning environments using contemporary teaching strategies
  • Maintaining professional currency through ongoing development and engagement with industry stakeholders
  • Collaborating with experts to ensure relevant and high-quality training
  • Ensuring accurate records and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Supporting student wellbeing and engagement through pastoral care and learning plans
  • Contributing to curriculum design, assessment validation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required skills and experience include:

  • Relevant vocational qualifications and recent industry experience in waterproofing or wet trades
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent adult education qualification
  • Strong understanding of learner-centred teaching practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and student management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • High-level ICT skills for e-learning and reporting
  • Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Anti-Discrimination, and Continuous Improvement

Additional requirements include:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
