We are seeking a highly skilled Waterproofing Specialist to join our Remedial and Facades team. This role will provide you with the chance to apply your expertise across a diverse portfolio of projects, supported by industry-leading professionals who will help develop and progress your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems for design and oversight of technical work
  • Support litigation efforts through expert witness evidence and reporting
  • Critical evaluation of building envelope performance
  • Expert input on design and construction of building envelopes with a strong emphasis on waterproofing systems
  • Design assistance services related to waterproofing, including input on material selection and details
  • Conduct investigations of existing failing waterproofing and roofing
  • Reviews and input on development of waterproofing details and specifications
  • Expert review of waterproofing project submittal and RFI documents
  • Inspect and supervise inspection of work in progress related to waterproofing systems
  • Attend project meetings, including leading meetings or portions of meetings related to waterproofing
  • Manage repair and re-construction projects for residential, commercial, and government buildings
  • Utilize network of asset owners, lawyers, and insurance adjusters to develop new business opportunities and grow our service offerings

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years local postgraduate experience
  • Technical degree (Bachelor's or higher) in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a closely related discipline
  • Expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems, with specific knowledge of relevant codes and standards
  • Experience in repair and re-construction, design, and project management of residential, commercial, and government buildings
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to summarize benefits and shortfalls of multiple solutions
  • Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office suite software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
