Job Opportunity:

Our company is seeking a skilled professional to fill a key position in our team.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems, with specific knowledge of relevant Australian standards.

  • Provide technical guidance on design and oversight of technical work
  • Support litigation efforts through expert witness evidence and reporting
  • Critically evaluate building envelope performance
  • Offer expert input on design and construction of building envelopes with a strong emphasis on waterproofing systems
  • Provide design assistance services related to waterproofing, including input on the use and selection of materials and details
  • Conduct investigations of existing failing waterproofing and roofing
  • Review and provide input on development of waterproofing details and specifications
  • Expertly review waterproofing project submittal and RFI documents
  • Inspect and supervise inspection of work in progress related to waterproofing systems
  • Attend project meetings, including leading meetings or portions of meetings related to waterproofing
  • Manage repair and re-construction projects for residential, commercial, and government buildings
  • Utilize your network of strata managers, asset owners, lawyers, and insurance adjusters in the local area to develop new business opportunities

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years local postgraduate experience mandatory
  • Technical degree (Bachelor's or higher) in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a closely related discipline
  • Expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems
  • Experience in repair and re-construction, design, and project management of residential, commercial, and government buildings
  • Collaborate on multiple solutions for clients and objectively summarize benefits and shortfalls
  • Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
