About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Facilities Officer to join our team at Everi Pty. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our school's facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and collect mail, parcels, and documents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Record and deliver messages, and perform printing and photocopying tasks as required.
  • Prepare classrooms for examinations and prepare activity/assembly halls, including moving/arranging furniture and seating.
  • Remove and relocate furniture from room to room, and perform general store duties including receipting, opening up, checking, storing, and distributing school supplies and stocks.
  • Assist with clearing and hosing of drains and gutters, collection of waste, food, and paper on school grounds as agreed by relevant staff and the Principal, Business Manager, and/or nominated delegate.
  • Undertake immediate action cleaning duties outside of normal operating hours of the school's cleaning staff.
  • Assist with requirements for significant events such as fetes, plays, and major sporting events.
  • Support with a variety of security duties at the school, including using and maintaining the school security systems.
  • Bank school funds, and lock and unlock buildings within core hours.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements, including maintenance of a safe work environment, bringing to attention any safety hazards, managing equipment records, and maintaining tools and equipment for repair services.
  • Attend to or arrange repairs and maintenance within the school, including those related to furniture and equipment, locks and windows, swimming pools, and school facilities.
Requirements
  • Current Working with Children check (Blue Card) and prepared to undergo a Criminal History Check.
  • Eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met.
