About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Facilities and Grounds Officer to join our team at Food and Wine. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our school's facilities and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our school's facilities, including classrooms, activity halls, and outdoor sporting facilities.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Ensure the grounds are well-maintained, including mowing, pruning, and other tasks as required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for the maintenance and repair of school equipment, including furniture, tools, and other assets.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, including the maintenance of a safe work environment and the safe storage and handling of chemicals and other substances.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with staff, students, and external personnel on matters related to facilities and grounds maintenance.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in facilities management or a related field is highly recommended.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Education and Training: Hold a relevant qualification in facilities management or a related field.
