Job Title: Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance and facilities management requirements at our resort.

The successful candidate will lead and execute the preventative maintenance program, provide hands-on support by performing repairs and maintenance as required across the property, supervise and manage key service areas including electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security control systems, hydraulic services, and approved contractor works.

To be successful in this role, you will need previous hands-on Maintenance/Facilities Management experience, preferably in a hotel environment. You should also have a proven ability to manage and develop team members, experience implementing a preventative maintenance program, and sound MS Office skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all maintenance and facilities management requirements.
  • Lead and execute the preventative maintenance program.
  • Provide hands-on support by performing repairs and maintenance as required.
  • Supervise and manage key service areas.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) best practices.
  • Oversee stock control and supplier management.
  • Prepare quotes, schedule, and manage Capital Expenditure (Capex) requests.
  • Support the Hotel Manager in the recruitment and development of the Maintenance department team.
