Maintenance Planning Role

This is a critical role that oversees and coordinates all maintenance activities for the company's helicopter fleet.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of scheduled tasks while optimizing resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Fleet Specialists to ensure all required parts and inspections are organized in advance.
  • Develop and maintain standard parts lists for routine tasks and maintenance procedures.
  • Order necessary parts from stores, ensuring timely availability and maintaining consistent communication with the Stores section.
  • Provide fleet reports and updates on upcoming maintenance activities to the Maintenance Controller.
  • Monitor Aircraft Component tracking to ensure availability and compliance.
  • Prioritize and schedule work orders to minimize disruptions to production while maximizing equipment uptime.
  • Coordinate available personnel, tools, and spare parts with Fleet Specialists to ensure efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor maintenance trends and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize maintenance strategies.
About This Role
  • Familiarity with aviation maintenance practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with scheduled maintenance programs, inspections, and airworthiness directives.
  • Technical background and preferably previous experience as an aircraft or helicopter technician or engineer.
  • Familiarity with helicopter systems, components, and their maintenance cycles.
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in an aviation or similar technical environment.
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and Project.
  • Familiarity with aviation maintenance regulations and documentation standards.
