Safety and Environmental Specialist.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Safety and Environmental Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental health and safety, with experience in implementing and maintaining EHS programs. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies, as well as conducting risk assessments and investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Provide training and support to employees on EHS procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in environmental health and safety, with knowledge of worldwide regulations.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements, including NV1/2, PV Clearance Assessment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field AND 12+ years of experience OR Master's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field AND 8+ years of experience in EHS with worldwide regulations.
  • Internationally recognized safety and health certifications.
