Waste Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Waste Management Specialist to lead the charge in shaping a culture of safety across our facilities, laboratories, and offices.

The successful candidate will develop, assess, and implement a comprehensive waste management system, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and best practices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assess current waste management systems, identify gaps, and ensure alignment with regulations.
  • Develop and implement waste management policies and procedures tailored to chemical manufacturing.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Design and deliver waste management training focused on chemical safety, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety (highly desirable).

  • Industry experience in manufacturing (desirable).
  • Proficiency in waste management software and tools.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
