Client Strategy Director

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our client relationships in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans that drive business growth and deliver exceptional results for our clients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of Australia's most iconic brands. As a Client Strategy Director, you will:

  • Leverage your expertise in media, advertising, publishing or marketing to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and deliver exceptional results for our clients.
  • Work closely with sales leads, product & planning specialists, editorial teams, and audience & research specialists to turn business challenges into breakthrough campaigns.
  • Develop strong relationships across agency partners, working at all levels to drive influence and opportunity.
  • Leverage our full ecosystem of assets, insights and editorial expertise to create best-in-market solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead pitches that win hearts, minds and budgets - from shaping the strategic approach through to bringing the story to life.
  • Translate complex business problems into powerful campaign ideas rooted in insight and cultural relevance.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leads to proactively identify growth opportunities for priority clients.
  • Be a mentor and multiplier - lifting capability in strategic storytelling across the team, directly managing a small team of Strategy & Insight Managers.
Your Background

You have experience in media, advertising, publishing or marketing, with a proven track record of delivering integrated media or content strategies. You are able to interrogate a business challenge and surface sharp, original insights. You are confident presenting to senior stakeholders - you're at ease in the boardroom and thrive under pressure.

You are passionate about mentoring and lifting capability in others. You are comfortable navigating complexity, ambiguity and high expectations. You are a team player who gets energy from collaborating - but isn't afraid to lead the room.
