Environmental Stewardship Specialist

This role champions waste reduction and recycling initiatives that minimize landfill disposal within the local community.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering educational content on sustainable practices to the general public, including school children.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and implement innovative recycling and waste management solutions.
- Assisting local businesses and community groups in establishing and maintaining recycling programs.
About You:
- You must possess knowledge of waste management principles and best practices focusing on waste reduction, recycling, and sustainability.
- You must have expertise in designing, delivering, and evaluating community education resources and promotional materials for digital and print media.
- You must be able to build and maintain relationships with internal departments, external agencies, local businesses, educational institutions, community partners, residents, and visitors.
