Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and advise on planning applications, such as Scheme Amendments, Structure Plans and Development Applications.
  • Preparing reports and recommendations for decision-making committees is essential in this position.
  • Engaging with stakeholders, developers, and the public to address queries and concerns is also vital.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of environmental and planning legislation is required.
  • Sound understanding of environmental impact assessment is necessary for success in this role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of environmental management plans, reports, strategies, and policies is essential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary to influence effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, research, and project management abilities are required.
