About the Role
">We are seeking a passionate and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our Carbon Maintenance team at our Bell Bay operations in Tasmania.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in maintenance and leadership to take on a new challenge and make a significant impact on our business.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring site safety and operational standards are adhered to, maintaining a safe work environment, reporting safety incidents and quality issues, and conducting daily shift start meetings.
You will also be responsible for monitoring and understanding operational KPIs, liaising with operations and asset management teams, and ensuring a high quality of maintenance work on assets.
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven record of delivering outstanding safety performance, demonstrate proactive and positive leadership skills, and possess strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
You will also have the ability to troubleshoot and perform under limited supervision, as well as strong resource planning and organization skills.
The ideal candidate will have previous maintenance experience, preferably in an aluminium smelter or similar industry, and have knowledge of SAP systems.

About You
- A minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance and leadership roles.
- Strong background in maintenance, preferably in an aluminium smelter or similar industry.
- Prior experience working with SAP systems.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding safety performance.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and perform under limited supervision.
- Strong resource planning and organization skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
