Logistics Operations Director

As a senior leader in the transport and logistics sector, this position is responsible for overseeing the Network Transport strategy, driving growth with existing and new customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing large-scale operations, people, customers, contracts, and financials. They will also possess excellent commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
This role involves developing and delivering operational optimisation initiatives, technology deployments, and continuous improvement programs to enhance service levels and drive business performance.
- Develop and execute the Network Transport strategy to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of integrity and trust.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and convert business development opportunities.
- Proven leadership experience within transport or logistics.
- Excellent commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
- Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in logistics or business management (desirable).
