Job Overview

You will be working as a senior legal professional within a dynamic team, providing solutions-focused independent advice to support organisational outcomes and mitigate legal risk.

This role involves managing complex general legal matters related to governance, delegations, probity, investigations, and inquiries.

About the Role
  • Provide expert legal counsel to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
  • Manage intricate legal matters with multiple stakeholders.
  • Work closely with clients to drive practical results.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.

This is a fixed-term contract. We are looking for experienced legal professionals who can work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.

About You
  • Hold a practising certificate in NSW.
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years post-qualification experience with significant experience in or advising government.
  • Be an experienced drafter, negotiator, and communicator.
  • Enjoy working on a diverse range of matters and collaborating with a hardworking and friendly team.
  • Have outstanding communication skills and be able to successfully manage stakeholders.
