Legal Advisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive legal advisor to join our team. As a key member of our in-house legal team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on governance, legal structures, partnerships, and commercial agreements.

About the Role

You will work autonomously to support the General Counsel in managing a broad portfolio of legal, regulatory, and governance matters. This role is integral to our firm's internal legal operations and risk management, requiring a strong understanding of law firm practices, regulatory frameworks, and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on governance, legal structures, partnerships, and commercial agreements.
  • Manage litigation, employment disputes, FOI requests, and subpoenas.
  • Oversee risk, insurance portfolios, claims handling, and policy renewals.
  • Draft and review contracts, support procurement, and lead tender processes.
  • Lead on compliance, privacy, AML, modern slavery, audits, and legal training.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring circa 4-6 years' PAE, ideally in a law firm or corporate legal department. You will have experience in corporate commercial, mergers & acquisitions, and/or commercial litigation. Demonstrate expertise in compliance, legal operations, and professional standards. Apply experience across litigation, digital, commercial, and contract law. Utilize strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills to influence outcomes.
