Job Description:

We are seeking a Risk Management and Compliance Professional to oversee and manage risk mitigation strategies and compliance initiatives within Emeco. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, safety protocols, and compliance procedures with the ability to lead and mentor teams in maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing an annual plan for risk and compliance management activities
  • Leading a risk management strategy for the organisation
  • Developing/updating associated risk management documentation i.e. policy, procedures etc.
  • Supporting all Emeco sites by embedding a risk aware culture
  • Facilitating Operational Risk Assessments and Reviews
  • Assisting in the implementation of Critical Control software across all Sites
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations while taking a commercial and practical approach to risk-based challenges and offering appropriate solutions
  • Continually driving for enhanced efficiency in all Risk and Compliance processes
  • Developing, leading and motivating the Risk Committees to maximise effectiveness
  • Ensuring senior management remain informed of regulatory, legislative and best practice changes and their obligations under these changes and how they impact the Group
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Certificate IV in OHS
  • Experience with MYOSH software, highly regarded
  • Previous experience in a similar role; working in a high-risk environment, e.g. mining, resources, engineering, construction or manufacturing sectors
  • Understanding of industry regulations and safety standards
  • Previous risk management experience, highly regarded
